Postage and Packaging

Postage

We aim to process and ship all orders within 24 – 48 business hours of being placed. Please note that in busy periods (such as sale or holiday periods) the dispatch of orders may take longer than the above time frames and we appreciate your understanding of this. Orders will not be dispatched on weekends, bank holidays or any other public holiday.

All our items are dispatched via Royal Mail or The Lancashire Dog Company’s chosen courier service for larger orders. Standard delivery is currently charged at £3.50 per order and free delivery is available when you spend £50 or more in one transaction.

Currently we do not ship worldwide through the website. If you need international shipping please contact us at hello@lancashiredogcompany.com and we will calculate the postage charge for your order. If you are happy with the postage charge, we will invoice you for the good and postage via PayPal.

There may be instances when items purchased are sold out/unavailable on the same day of purchase, in this case we will contact you to advise that this has happened and advise of what action needs to be taken. Orders are subject to availability and The Lancashire Dog Company reserves the right to cancel any order, for any reason, including due to unavailability.

Please ensure that you double check the address on your order, as any parcels marked ‘Returned to Sender due to an incorrect mailing address or missed delivery will be mailed again at the expense of the buyer.

Packaging

At The Lancashire Dog Company we feel it is more important than ever to take steps to reduce our impact on the environment. When possible, we aim to post all orders using eco-friendly packaging. Most of the packaging we use can be recycled easily meaning less packaging waste is going into landfill.

The Lancashire Dog Company does also re-use good quality packaging to send your orders. This helps the environment and also enables us to keep postage and packaging costs at a lower price. If you received an item that has been wrapped in bubble wrap this has been recycled from an order we have received. We do not purchase bubble wrap and use environmentally friendly alternatives but we do re-use the bubble wrap which is received from our suppliers.

When possible, and if we are confident it will not affect the products ordered, we will ship orders without additional packaging to prevent needless waste.
